ABOUT US
Ambio’s clinics have become centers for research and the cultural introduction of ibogaine therapy. Our founders have a combined 40+ years of experience leading our field in a variety of ways, from the programs that we offer, to training and sustainable medicine sourcing. We run a variety of programs at several locations, and can address a wide range of concerns, including drug detoxification and addiction recovery, traumatic brain injuries and emotional trauma, neurodegenerative conditions, pain, and other concerns. We also work with many who are interested in approaches to psychological optimization amongst high performance special forces operators, professional athletes, executives, and artists.
Ambio Leadership

Jonathan Dickinson
CO-FOUNDER
Jonathan Dickinson is a Mexico-licensed psychologist and researcher who is responsible for various aspects of Ambio’s operations and therapeutic programs. He has been working with iboga and ibogaine in both clinical and ceremonial contexts since 2009. He previously served as the Director of the Global Ibogaine Therapy Alliance, and led the development of the Clinical Guidelines for Ibogaine-Assisted Detoxification, a risk management guide that remains a standard in the field. He organized several conferences on ibogaine therapy practice and safety protocols, and has collaborated and published about ibogaine in multiple disciplines. In 2014, Jonathan was initiated into a Dissoumba/Fang tradition of Bwiti in Gabon, and in 2022 into the Missoko tradition.

Trevor Millar
CO-FOUNDER
Trevor Millar is a social-entrepreneur with over a decade of experience providing ibogaine therapy. He is responsible for various aspects of Ambio’s operations and communications. He previously served as a board member and co-founder of the Canadian Psychedelic Association and from 2018 to 2021 was on the board of directors for the Multidisciplinary Association of Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) Canada, where he acted as Chair of the Board for over two years. Trevor was featured in the award-winning documentary about using magic mushrooms and Iboga to treat addiction, anxiety and depression called DOSED, which was released in 2019.

Beth Sparks
PSYCHEDELIC INTEGRATION COACH Beth brings her collective professional and personal experiences into Psychedelic Integration Coaching. She has helped support and guide people during difficult times for nearly two decades. She is a former active-duty Marine, supported military families during challenging deployments, served as a crisis counsellor for adolescents and young adults, and practiced therapy with diverse populations, including veterans and military families. As a Psychedelic Integration Coach, her goal is to help clients find their way back to a healthier, thriving, and whole-hearted space and experience increased self-awareness, growth, and a greater quality of life.

Lindsay White
MA, INTEGRATION COACH & TRAUMA SPECIALIST Lindsey draws from a multidisciplinary approach that combines ancient wisdom with the latest research. She retired her psychotherapy license in 2022 (after 18 years) to focus on coaching special operations veterans across the country. In her years as a therapist, she worked extensively with individuals, couples, and families, utilizing systems theory, Jungian theory, and EMDR.
She earned a certificate in psychedelic assisted therapy and research through the California Institute of Integral Studies in 2018 (where she is currently working on a doctorate degree in Integral and Transpersonal Psychology), which included training in the MAPS MDMA-Assisted Therapy protocol. She also earned a certificate in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy from Phil Wolfson, MD (editor of the Ketamine Papers). Lindsey founded the first therapeutic ibogaine integration center in the US, where she created and practiced a psychedelic integration technique utilizing EMDR. She also provided Kambö treatments at her recovery home to assist in rebuilding health after addiction. Her approach to recovery is based on Maslow’s hierarchy of needs. First, addressing the physical, and then the social, emotional, and psychological.
While she is an advocate for psychedelic therapy in general, Lindsey’s life calling is connected most specifically to ibogaine/iboga. She practices within the legal and ethical guidelines of the coaching discipline, which differs from psychotherapy in that it focuses on generative change rather than reparative and/or diagnostically guided change.
